THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT TODAY

This is the way we learn....

What is the Communicative approach?
The communicative approach is based on the idea that learning language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language.

The Communicative Approach also points out that the ability to develop strategies that can ensure effective communication is an indispensable part of communicative competence. The Communicative Approach views langue as a vehicle for communication .

At CAV we believe that the best way to learn is to lead to the studens to real-life situations to motivate learning. Students' motivation to learn comes from their desire to communicate in meaningful ways about meaningful topics.

With a lot of funny and cooperative activities to promote and encourage values and supported by modern materials, and educational technology tools (videos, songs, blogs, etc), the English class is the space students can explore their own posibilities of independence, team work skills and comunicate in a second language.

Teachers go to school
In September 2012 all the teachers are going to take an international exam of English at the ANGLO. This exam is the last step in a serie of workshops, webinars and trainings the English Department is doing every two Thursdays.

Compartimos el reporte escrito por él luego de la visita: ADAM´S REPORT

A partir de ahora ya nos concentramos en preparar la delegación de nuestros alumnos que visitarán Inglaterra en el 2014.
